Corporate Immigration

Bernard Caris has been a member of the Dutch-speaking section of the Brussels Bar since 1994.  Until 2013 he practised commercial and immigration law, with focus on corporate immigration (first at Marx Van Ranst Vermeersch, and afterwards at Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick). Afterwards, he continued to develop his corporate immigration practice at Praetica and Younity, before joining Tilia Law in April 2025.

Bernard's practice is focused on immigration law. He assists clients with applying for work permits/single permits/European blue cards (employees), professional cards (self-employed), visa and residence permits, …, always taking into account the overall situation (tax and social security consequences, long term residence, citizenship, …).

He works in Dutch, French and English.
